And if thinking about books and less sleep isn’t enough, Bronx’s dad and Ashlee Simpson’s husband, Pete Wentz dives into fatherhood even deeper by being mellower and waving the white flag of peace to Brandon Flowers, who is the frontman of the band, The Killers.
Pete wants to end their 3-year “conflict,” involving very public squabbles, just because his new-found fatherhood has put their “little” feud in perspective.
“My biggest public regret is the fall-out with The Killers. Fatherhood has made me see our feud is petty bullsh*t,” stated the repentant new papa.
Their disagreement began way back in 2005, when Brandon claimed that he wanted to “destroy emo,” claiming that certain emo bands’ angst-ridden lyrics were bad influence on some kids.
Kudos to the Fall Out Boy bassist for wanting less fights and more peace on Earth. After all, it’s the time for good cheer, love, peace, and all the other Christmas-y good feelings.
