John Mayer supports Pete Wentz’ art show but tries to avoid ex Jessica Simpson
How does it feel to be torn between being a good friend and a polite ex boyfriend?
I guess John Mayer knows the answer.
Being a good and supportive friend of Fall out Boy, Pete Wentz, the American musician had gone to Gallery1988 in L.A. to support the latter’s art effort “Without You I’m Just Me.” However, when John learned that Pete’s sister-in-law and his ex girlfriend, Jessica Simpson is coming to the show, it was reported that he hastily left the place.
“John showed up early for the public viewing and took pictures with fans, but left before the VIP portion of the evening started,” quotes the New York Daily News from an insider.
“He wanted to be there for Pete, but wanted more to avoid the possibility of a dramatic encounter with Jess,” the mole adds.
Jess and John dated in 2007. Jessica is currently with Tony Romo while John is having an on-again-off-again romance with Jennifer Aniston. Now John sure have something for Js, huh?!
