Jessica: Run So Far Away!

Jessica Simpson is at it again, that is, saying that women should dump abusive partners.
After the Rihanna-Chris Brown debacle, Jess has said in a concert last month, to “run away and fall in love again.”
“To any woman out there who is in an abusive relationship, let me tell you that each and every single woman, you can take your heart and run so far away and fall in love again, and that’s the reason I recorded this song called Remember That,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling the crowd last month.
Apparently, she feels that there is a need to say her plead once again, as she repeated herself at a concert in Phoenix last Thursday, March 12, before she sand her song, Remember That.
“In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there [in the relationship],” she told the crowd at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion. “No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away.”
The 28-year old country singer/ actress has admitted that she had been in an abusive relationship, she did not, however, disclose the name of the man who had hurt her. The ballad, Remember That, features the lyrics “It doesn’t matter how he hurts you/With his hands or with his words/You don’t deserve it.”
Very sensitive and heart-warming, since this song is penned by Jess, herself.
She spoke more on relationships before singing Still Don’t Stop Me, which she wrote about “a guy I couldn’t get over with,” she said.
“After I wrote that song, I was mad at myself for being so weak, and I got over that guy!”
Talk about women empowerment! Go Jess!
