Jessica’s Chicken and Dumplings, with Tony and Fancy on the Side
Man the presses! Jessica Simpson is giving Rachael Ray a cooling lesson on the latter’s show. She also talked about her Dallas Cowboy quarterback beau, Tony Romo, and her new perfume, Fancy.
This isn’t Jessica’s first time on the show. The last time that she was a guest there, she cooked her fabulous Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Breasts with Cheddar Mustard Sauce. This time, she showed off her recipe for Chicken and Dumplings (which, by the way, got rave reviews from the people who tried it). And not only that, she also shared her strategy for her romance with Tony, which is “lots of tailgating and serenading him” with her country album, Do You Know.
“Tony’s favorite song is ‘You’re My Sunday’ because that was written for him,” she gushes, adding that she’s incredibly proud of the new recording.
“I’ve never been more proud of anything I’ve worked on in my life,” she says. “I feel that for the first time my voice fits the melody … it took six records to get here, but now I’m here!”
She’s also keeping busy with her diverse fashion line (she’s into shoes, sandals, bags, even hair extensions) and the debut of her perfume, Fancy, which she jokes will enhance your scent in any situation.
“You can get into an elevator and actually pass gas and people won’t smell it!” she exclaimed.
