I’m a little conflicted by Jess’ choice of clothing. Wait - did she choose that, or did a stylist? Because I think the style and color are good on her, but: those cutouts below her (very ample) cleavage. What are those supposed to be? I can’t decide if it’s sexy or stupid, but I’m leaning toward the latter.

Anyway, this pic of Jess was shot (um, with a camera, guys - no guns!) walking around Juan-les-Pins near Cannes.

You may not have known this, but on May 12, Jessica Simpson was in Cologne, Germany. She was performing at the UNESCO Gala 2007, which was held at the gorgeous Maritim Hotel.

She looks sultry here, like maybe she’s seducing the crowd (and with that body, she could).

Meet Coney Island’s hottest new attraction – Jessica Simpson!

The preening pop star invaded the New York waterfront for a photo shoot this week that had all the locals –and photographers – buzzing. Changing between red and blue gowns with matching bunches of balloons, Jess braved the windy elements, striking her best poses on the beach.

The photo shoot seemed to carry a Naval theme as she also posed with several men in vintage Navy uniforms. No word yet what the photo shoot was for.

It could be her new movie, which is military-themed, or it might only be a shoot for her newest line of shoes.

Jessica Simpson is heartbroken because her romantic summer plans have gone awry.

She starts filming Major Movie Star in June in Shreveport, Louisiana. In this comedy she plays a struggling acttress who enlists in the Marines.

She had hoped to rent a big house in Shreveport and have John Mayer share it with her. Fantasies of warm southern nights under the stars and afternoon barbecues filled her head.

But John told her it’s out of the question - he’s way too busy working this summer. He’ll try to visit when he can, but that’s the best he can do.

Karma’s a bitch. Last time she was filming in Louisiana - for Dukes of Hazzard - she didn’t want Nick to visit. Now she’s begging her lover to visit, and he won’t.

JES’ PREDICTION: This is more than a summer gone awry - it sounds like the entire relationship is headed down a gnarly path. I don’t think they’ll be together much longer.

Following a couple’s getaway to Italy in March and a happy jaunt Down Under earlier this month, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer continue their romantic tour in London, Ontario, where Mayer performed in concert on Sunday.

No word yet on an official engagement, but these two lovebirds are popping up everywhere!

Swept off her feet by lanky singer John Mayer, Jessica Simpson shocked her family and friends by running away with her man for a romantic hush-hush “honeymoon” as he tours Australia! And John is so crazy in love with Jessica that, as they walked hand in hand on the beach, he surprised her by taking her in his arms and popping the question!

I think these two are cute together, which is something I haven’t been able to bring myself to admit. I loved Jess and Nick. They were iconic.

But John Mayer and Jessica Simpson seem to match each other well. Jessica seems like she feels so comfortable with John Mayer. and it makes me ridiculously happy for her, considering I don’t actually know the pop star. I think John Mayer is good for her - she seems like she just wants to lay low and be “normal” for a bit (whatever “normal” is for someone who is constantly in the media spotlight, courtesy of the paparazzi).

Jessica Simpson, who is sporting a brunette hairdo, arrived in Australia yesterday by the side of her boyfriend, singer John Mayer. John performed the first show of his Australian tour in Perth last night.

Jessica Simpson and her family visited the Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on March 25, 2007 to donate a new minivan to the orphanage. Jess looks really cute here, and genuinely happy to be helping others.

Jessica and John have returned from their Roman holiday, and are back in Hollywood.

(Aside: Jess looks really thin - do you think she’s losing more weight?)

This weekend they were on a date at the Ivy, one of THE Hollywood see-and-be-seen hotspots. If you ask me, that’s the perfect place to hang out if you want to announce your return to the United States. Paparazzi are nearly ALWAYS hanging out there, waiting for their next big paycheck (in the form of a photograph, of course).

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spotted walking hand in hand in Rome, Italy this afternoon where they are on currently vacationing together.

The couple arrived at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport this morning and were then driven by van to their hotel, which is in the center of town.

Later on, Mayer and Simpson lingered over a romantic lunch at famed restaurant “Dal Bolognese,” for more than two hours, before doing some sightseeing on foot.

Sources say Ashlee and Kelly spent lots of time with each other when the singer holidayed in Hawaii at the beginning of this year.
