According to a recent Life Style Extra article, Jessica Simpson has been reportedly telling all her friends that she is “totally done” with John Mayer and that the relationship was unhealthy.

“She was telling friends, ‘We were so different, we were fighting so much. I’m really happy to be out of that relationship. This time, it’s totally done.’”

Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson is in talks to be the new Bond girl. She’ll play opposite hottie Daniel Craig. Some have said that playing this role is career suicide, but I think Jess would make a great Bond girl! She’s got all the curves for the role - that’s for sure!

As part of Ashlee’s contract to promote the Sketchers brand, life-size cutouts of Ashlee have been popping up (pun intended) at shoe stores everywhere. I think these images of Ashlee look super-cute, but I don’t recall ever actually seeing her WEARING Sketchers brand shoes. Does she? If you’ve got an image of her wearing them, let me know!

Jessica Simpson is reportedly jealous of younger sister Ashlee.

The ‘Employee of the Month’ actress is said to be unhappy her sibling’s fame is beginning to eclipse her own.

A source told Closer magazine: “Jessica finds it tough being compared with Ashlee, who’s becoming a big star and is threatening to overtake Jessica as the more successful sister.

“Jessica was always seen as the bigger star, but now Ashlee is taking over. There’s certainly a sibling rivalry between them.”

Ashlee took the lead role as covergirl for Cosmo’s June issue. She’s featured with natural-looking highlights and a tight blue dress, looking half girl-next-door and half sexpot. Especially the way she’s hiking her dress up to her hip for the camera.

Jessica Simpson opens up about hair, her weight and the perils of dairy. In an interview with Extra, Simpson, who recently dyed her blond hair brown, reveals that she is naturally brunette. “People don’t know that about me,” the star says, adding, “I was really blond as a kid, but then I just started getting darker and darker.”

The change isn’t phasing Jess, though, who claims, “I’ve really become comfortable in who I am and my skin and just feeling beautiful five pounds heavier, five pounds smaller.”

Speaking of healthy, Extra reports that Simpson is currently getting in shape for an upcoming film in which her character joins the Marines (talk about disarming the enemy!). “I am going to be all ripped,” Simpson says. Getting there isn’t easy though, even for Jess, who has weaknesses like everyone else. “I’m not good on sugar,” she admits.

Even worse for the pop-star turned actress? Dairy! “You’ll hear it come out of all ends!” the star jokes. Suddenly, we have visions of Jess’ home life, with adorable boyfriend John Mayer secreting cheese away from his lactose-intolerant lady.

Despite her digestive woes, Simpson has her life and business on track, having recently added a home line to her label. “I aspire to be a brand like Ralph Lauren,” she says.

Remember the good old days when Jessica and Ashlee Simpson were best friends? Like the hair colors they’re now sporting and the guys they are seeing, the relationship between the once-close siblings is no longer what it used to be. While their reps insist the sisters are still close, a tsunami seems to be building.

“There’s certainly a sibling rivalry between them,” a source close to the two tells Star. The trouble began, says another insider when Jess’s boyfriend, John Mayer, pointed to a glamorous magazine photo and asked Jess, “How old is this picture of you?” But-whoops!-it was a shot of Ashlee! “Jessica read John the riot act,” says our source. “He definitely touched a nerve.”

Her sensitivity on the subject seems to be the direct result of Ashlee’s emergence as a sex kitten, a role once owned by Jessica. That Ashlee has become the hot blonde – a transformation that came courtesy of a surgeon’s knife, a bottle of peroxide and dramatic weight loss- is troubling to Jessica, who has morphed into a buxom and sometimes frumpy brunette due to a dye job and about 20 extra pounds. “Jessica hears the catty talk about how Ashlee looks like her- from two years ago,” says the source. “It totally bothers her.”

In what has become rare during the past few weeks, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer were seen together at the “Poiret: King of Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Jessica is looking quite busty in these photographs, which isn’t out of the ordinary, except I’m wondering why she’s suddenly all about showing off her body again. It must be the trick of having John Mayer in her life - before him (and after her breakup with Nick Lachey), she seemed quite fond of covering up.

Anyway, she looks great here, if not a tad overly orange-y.

Ashlee has been out and about in Hollywood, and paparazzi caught up to her at US Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party. Ashlee stopped long enough to allow photogs to capture her, and was looking quite busty in her mini-dress.

I like Ashlee’s look here, but can’t get over the red shoes. I don’t think they look bad, I just think she could have picked something that would look better. Red shoes seem to be all the rage in Hollywood right now, even when they don’t match the rest of the outfit, so I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that Ashlee would jump on this trend.

Ashlee Simpson has long fielded gossip that her dramatic new look is the result of plastic surgery (sources tell PEOPLE she had a nose job last April), but she doesn’t care, she says in a new interview. “I don’t get bothered by people saying what they say,” the singer, 22, tells Harper’s Bazaar in its May issue. “I’m a happy person, and I’m happy with my looks.”

And while she doesn’t talk specifically about how she’s changed her appearance, she emphasizes that any little fixes were not acts of self-loathing. “I loved how I looked,” she says. “I’m not an insecure person, nor was I before.” Going under the knife, she says, is “a personal choice. I believe if somebody chooses to do plastic surgery, it [should be] for yourself, not for anyone else.”

Over the weekend, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer spent time together in public, dining at Hugo’s restaurant in West Hollywood. Saturday (March 24, 2007) they were photographed leaving the restaurant, and they look so cute! I love this shot – it feels really artsy to me.

Jessica Simpson was recently on the cover of Cleo magazine. Never heard of it? Me either. Which is why I did a little research.

Cleo Magazine is an Australian publication that describes itself as “for the woman of the new millenium showcasing the latest in this season’s fashion, beauty tips, interactive makeovers, fitness tools, [etc.].”

I’m not sure when this spread was shot, but Jessica looks cute with blonde hair - though I love her as a brunette, I miss the blonde!

Jessica Simpson’s Blonde Ambition album cover has been released. I love this cover because (a) Jessica looks HAWT, (b) I love that contrast between Jess’ stark-white clothing and sheets and perhaps MOST importantly, (c) I can’t stop staring at the headboard behind Jessica. I loooovvvvvveeeee it.

If I ever find out where it’s from, I’m totally buying one for my bedroom.
