Jessica Simpson is reportedly planning to have a baby with her gay hairdresser.

I know, I know. I couldn’t believe it either. What’s more, I couldn’t find anything to back up that claim, other than other gossip sites. Allegedly, More magazine (which doesn’t make sense, because it is for women ages 40+, and Jessica Simpson is like HALF that age, but whatever) has reported that the singer-actress wants to be artificially inseminated with the help of her long-term friend Ken Paves. After debuting her eponymous swimwear collection, Jessica Simpson hosted a party in the Redroom at the Shore Club’s Skybar. My Miami party spies tell me the vixen—surrounded by bodyguards—refused to answer any questions without her mother, Tina, present. (Isn’t that the polar opposite of Britney Spears?!) With sis Ashlee a no-show, Jess controlled the spotlight, looking amazing and making guys jealous by focusing all her flirtations on mane man Ken Paves.

This past Friday night (June 8th), Jessica Simpson headed out late at night (3am) with friend and hair stylist Ken Paves. She was seen leaving Sunset Marquis Hotel - a place where John Mayer used to stay.

Is it just me, or does Jessica Simpson look a bit like Britney Spears in the photo below?

Rumors are popping up all over the web about Nick Lachey’s honey Vanessa Minnillo. She hasn’t been happy with the way her hair has been looking lately and, reportedly, she’s been admiring Jennifer Lopez’s and/or Jennifer Aniston’s tresses. Maybe both?

Vanessa would love to go to (the) Jennifer’s hair stylist - but he happens to be Ken Paves.

Here’s where it gets complicated. Ken is the stylist that Jessica Simpson put on the map. Ken knows Vanessa would like to become a client and that’s fine with him, but his first loyalty is always to Jessica and he doesn’t want to upset her.

Ken Paves, the unequivocal king of pageant queen hair, worked his magic on Ashlee Simpson over the weekend. After nearly two hours of washing, cutting, styling and repeating, the entrepreneurial hair stylist’s masterpiece was finally complete.

With her honey blonde extensions sewed on tight (Hair U Wear brand, we’re sure), the plasticized pop singer was all smiles as she made her merry little way back to her car.

Asked whether her new ‘do was to impress her rumuored new beau, Chad Hugo of Neptunes fame, Ashlee merely replied with a giggle and a roll of the eyes. Meanwhile, reps for the 22-year-old poptart had this to say: “That is not true. She is working with Chad on her new album. There is nothing romantic going on.”

(Uh huh…sure…we’ve all heard that one before.)

For a long time, Jess’ blonde locks have nearly been a trademark look. But since she’s mixed it up and gone darker, I’m starting to fall in love with her all over again!

I think Jessica Simpson looks great both as a blonde and as a brunette - either way, she’s smokin’ hot!
