There has emerged another angle in the Jessica Simpson-Tony Romo split. A new name has emerged in the event. Who? John Mayer! Jessica’s ex-boyfriend.

Tony is assumed to have broken-up with Jessica on the eve of her 29th birthday after discovering text messages from her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer.

Have you had enough of Pete Wentz and his constant oversharing?

Well, steel yourselves people because he has gone out talking again, now in the February issue of the Blender magazine. Remember my previous article about Pete not reading online blogs anymore because he doesn’t like to read about being synonymous to a douche bag? But he isn’t the only one talking. That certain interview comes with a bonus! His good pal, John Mayer, speaks about “the idea” of the persona, Pete Wentz.

Earlier this month, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were hiding out in Hawaii. This wasn’t just a “for fun” vacation, though – the couple were there together while Tony was playing for the NFC team in the Pro Bowl.

They look cute together, and that’s all I have to say. This is one of the few pictures of Tony Romo where I actually think he looks attractive. But that’s just me. (more…)

In Touch magazine recently interviewed Jessica Simpson to get the scoop about her life, her new movie (Major Movie Star, about a movie star (?) who got in a car wreck (?) and joined the military (?) — and for the record, I don’t have enough fingers to count the number of celebrities who should take a hint from this plot), whether she’s ACTUALLY the diva everyone says she is (of course Jess said she’s not!) and any nitty-gritty they could pull about her love life. An update on the John Mayer/Cameron Diaz reports that took over the webosphere last week: IT’S TRUE. And they kept up their New York flirtation over the entire weekend.

The pair were first spotted out together in the city last week, were “all over each other” and “super flirty” at the Bowery Hotel Friday night. (We’ve seen Cameron and her PDA, so this is easy to imagine. Not that I *WANT* to imagine it. But you sort of can’t help it. I mean, it just kind of burns itself into your memory, like that time you bit into a raspberry with a worm hanging out of the center.)

Sometimes I wonder about Jessica Simpson. Sometimes I wonder whether she just plays the dumb blonde role really well, or if she’s self-absorbed, or if she really just doesn’t have any clue. She and Nick Lachey were so great together and I’m STILL holding out hope that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey will get back together.

HOW PERFECT WOULD THAT BE?

Anyway, Jess has been rumored to have dated her share of guys since breaking up her marriage with Nick (Yes, Jessica, you’re right: that really WAS the worst mistake of your life), most recently and notably: John Mayer. But John’s moved on now, right into the open arms of another blonde…do you know who?

It turns out that Jessica Simpson’s new film, “Blonde Ambition” has had its release date pushed back twice because the movie is so bad.

A source told that, “Jessica was not very focused on-set and flubbed her lines often. She always had her dog around, was on the phone with [then-] boyfriend John Mayer or was sitting in a warmed-up SUV.”

The film is now set to come out the last week of August.

A guest at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood tells Celebrity Babylon that singer John Mayer, 29, was yelling into his phone with his head down outside by the pool on Monday morning, June 11. Says the hotel guest, “He said ‘Jess’ a bunch of times, so I would think he was talking to Jessica Simpson. He looked wiped out, circles under his eyes, and some pal was grabbing him coffee while he was having this fight over the phone. There was a lot I couldn’t hear, but at the end before he hung up, he told her to stop calling, stop texting, stop all of it — leave me alone! He was shaking his head back and forth like, ‘God, make her stop,’ and his friend was sort of chuckling at him.” Jessica Simpson,26, is shamelessly chasing her on-again off-again boyfriend John Mayer, and it looks like he’s finally telling her “enough!”

According to a recent Life Style Extra article, Jessica Simpson has been reportedly telling all her friends that she is “totally done” with John Mayer and that the relationship was unhealthy.

“She was telling friends, ‘We were so different, we were fighting so much. I’m really happy to be out of that relationship. This time, it’s totally done.’”

This past Friday night (June 8th), Jessica Simpson headed out late at night (3am) with friend and hair stylist Ken Paves. She was seen leaving Sunset Marquis Hotel - a place where John Mayer used to stay.

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have ended their romance – again, and this time for good. Possibly. “It has been rocky and it had been rocky, and it reached the end of the road,” a source close to Mayer said. “It is definitely over – the relationship has ended.”

Those on Simpson’s side confirm that the romance has come to an end, but say the door is always open for the pair to reunite. “They broke up Sunday night, but who knows what the future will hold,” says a Simpson source. “This is the twelfth time they’ve broken up. Their relationship is volatile. Last week they felt better than ever. This week, things are rocky. Who knows what the future will bring. ”

Simpson, 26, and Mayer, 29, have been together about a year, though were coy about the relationship until recently. Just last month, the couple split, but then only days later appeared to have reconciled after a heavy round of emailing and talking.

“They tried to make it work. They dated for a year,” says the Mayer source, who adds that the couple’s time together in New York and more recently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico were an attempt “to talk things over.” But that was then. Now, says the source: “It’s over.”

Simpson’s pal says the singer is “used to” the back and forth with Mayer by now. “She love [John] but she has to be true to herself.” As for any reason’s behind this most recent split: “Every relationship has its differences, but with Jessica and John those differences were starting to become more and more apparent,” says the Mayer source.

Jessica Simpson’s growing bust size has pals wondering whether she’s pregnant with on-again, off-again beau John Mayer’s baby.

A pal revealed to the National Enquirer that Simpson’s breasts had grown so huge in such a short time that her friends were wondering whether the stork will soon be paying her a visit.

“Her friends are astounded at how huge Jessica’s breasts have gotten, and are asking each other if she could be pregnant,” the National Ledger quoted the pal, as telling the tabloid.

Another reason why pals also think that Simpson is pregnant, is because not only has she been taking care of herself, but also because she refuses to confirm or deny the reports.

“Her breasts are positively huge, and she really seems to be taking care of herself,” the pal said.

“She’s not saying anything one way or the other when the subject comes up, but women who put on weight don’t smile when someone suggests they might be pregnant,” added the source.

However, Jessica Simpson’s publicist denies that she is expecting.

The singer recently confirmed that she had split from beau John Mayer, though the pair were spotted in Cabo this weekend attempting to rekindle their romance. They were last spotted having a lover’s quarrel on the balcony of their oceanfront villa.
