When I was young, around my elementary and high school days, I’ve always kept a diary to record all those significant experiences in my life. But then growing up, I’ve learned to leave those pens and notebooks behind and move on with life.

However, with Jessica Simpson’s help, I must as well consider going back to getting my good ‘ol diary.

The new aunt who divorced 98° Degrees member, Nick Lachey after being married for three years shared how writing in her diary helped in curing her broken heart.

“It (writing in a diary) is very, very therapeutic. There is a lot about heartbreak, there is a lot about perseverance. I used it as inspiration for my album. I used certain journal excerpts from certain journal entries. It has been an awesome experience for me,” says Jess who later used the emotional entries as inspiration for her music.

Not bad, right?!

For Jessica Simpson, Valentine’s Day was spent Texas-style: The singer and beau Tony Romo dined together at Nove Italiano restaurant in Dallas.

“All eyes were on them,” one insider says of the singer and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. “But they sat in a corner booth to try and get some privacy.”

Simpson was wearing a sexy crimson dress, and the pair were seen being very affectionate with each other. The couple kick-started their romantic meal with a bottle of Cristal champagne, followed by spaghetti bolognaise. (more…)

Earlier this month, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were hiding out in Hawaii. This wasn’t just a “for fun” vacation, though – the couple were there together while Tony was playing for the NFC team in the Pro Bowl.

They look cute together, and that’s all I have to say. This is one of the few pictures of Tony Romo where I actually think he looks attractive. But that’s just me. (more…)

Papa Joe Simpson is ticked off that he’s being accused of tipping off the paparazzi that his daughter was off in Cabo with Tony Romo the week before his big game.

But a source says everybody knows Joe makes deals with the paparazzi so that the family gets a cut for the sales of any good photos.

The source says, “Nobody would have known that Tony was down in Mexico with Jessica if there hadn’t been those pictures everywhere. So a lot of people suspect he tipped off the photographers, causing Tony this huge headache. But, when you date Jessica, you date Joe, too.”

Meantime, John Mayer is defending his former girlfriend, blogging that it’s not fair that the state of Texas has turned on their fair-haired daughter. He says, “That girl loves Texas more than you know…So please don’t try and take that away from her.”

Things are so bad for Jess that she’s even beefed up security.

I’ve heard rumors around Dallas that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have been dating here (Jessica is renting an enormous house in Plano, Texas, where many Dallas Cowboys live). It’s frustrating to LIVE in Dallas and never know where they are, because you KNOW I would totally follow them around and take pictures with my phone while pretending to talk on it.

Anyway, the most recent report about the two follows them on a romantic getaway to Mexico.

Talk about one way to relax before the playoffs.

They jetted off to Los Cabos, Mexico, on Friday night for a poolside vacation with some of Romo’s teammates – and Jessica’s parents. (HELLO, AWKWARD.)

The two – enjoying a post-New Year’s respite before Romo’s playoff game against the New York Giants next weekend – did opt for some extra privacy, though, staying at a house in a gated community with their own chef. (more…)

Jessica Simpson was beaming on November 30 as she boarded a private jet in Orlando, Fla. after taping a Disney special. She had a good reason-she was going to pick up her new man, Dallas Cowboy QB Tony Romo! An excited Jessica, with a couple of close friends, headed to meet Tony at a Dallas airport. “Jessica is a little nervous but so happy to see him,” says an insider. “Jessica thinks he is hot! He’s a really nice guy and her family loves him.”

In Touch reported last week that the couple spent Thanksgiving with Jessica’s family in Texas and were looking forward to spending more time together. The pair, who are both 27, will attend her best friend Cacee Cobb’s birthday party at Teddy’s in Hollywood on Saturday night. “She wants all her friends to meet him.” Also on the agenda for the hot new couple? “They are going take it easy and hang out at Jessica’s house.”

Jessica Simpson has her daddy, Joe, to thank for her new love, quarterback Tony Romo. A pal of the bubbly blonde said, “Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while. Joe is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and Tony has always had a crush on Jessica - he even said on his Web site like a year ago that it was his dream to date her.

Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo were spotted together not only once, but twice this past Thanksgiving weekend! The couple showed up at Jessica’s grandparents new home in Waco, Texas, on November 23rd, reports In Touch Weekly.

The family visit followed dinner at Dragonfly in Dallas the evening before.

It’s always been said that timing is everything, but in the world of Jessica Simpson, this phrase is especially true.

A source close to the blond bombshell says that like her hookup with John Mayer, Simpson’s recent “dates” with Owen Wilson are meant to drum up good favor in the court of public opinion. “When Jess last had a new album coming out, that’s when she was introduced to John. She’s got her first country album coming out, so now she’s been conveniently introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is sympathetic to him.” (more…)

Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson have known each other for years, but it took Willie Nelson to bring the Texas natives together. After reconnecting at the Spicewood, Texas set of a Nelson music video on October 15, Simpson, 27, and Wilson, 38, have been spotted getting friendly at bars from coast to coast. What we can’t figure out is WHY. I mean, we know about the rumors and all, but: WHY JESSICA AND OWEN?

On October 28, the couple hung out in a cabana at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, California. A week later, they were seen again dining at New York’s Waverly Inn before heading to the Rose Bar, where a witness said, “Jessica was touching Owen’s arm and flipping her hair.” In return, the fellow patron says, “Owen was charming, making Jessica laugh…it felt very date-y.” (more…)

Have you heard about this? Jessica Simpson and Owen Wilson? Apparently, Jessica and Owen were recently spotted on a date in Los Angeles, according to the new issue of Star magazine.

The two dined Sunday at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica before retiring to his Malibu home.

“He couldn’t keep his hands off her,” a witness tells the mag.

Reportedly, sparks flew between the two Texans when they were in Austin on Oct. 16 to appear in a video with Willie Nelson.

Bam Margera, the star of Jackass and Viva La Bam, has come clean about his romance with Jessica Simpson. Bam and Jessica were romantically linked in 2005 while Jessica was still married to Nick Lachey. Bam is now married to his childhood sweetheart, Missy Rothstein, and we all know that Jessica is, unfortunately, divorced from Nick.

Jessica has always, always denied the rumors of a romance with Bam. Bam has adamantly boasted that he and Jessica briefly dated. Recently, Bam started talking about their brief romance again - and he came clean about the truth, admitting that his fling with Jessica ended when Bam’s former fiancee discovered the affair. I know, I know. I couldn’t believe it either. What’s more, I couldn’t find anything to back up that claim, other than other gossip sites. Allegedly, More magazine (which doesn’t make sense, because it is for women ages 40+, and Jessica Simpson is like HALF that age, but whatever) has reported that the singer-actress wants to be artificially inseminated with the help of her long-term friend Ken Paves. The way Jessica Simpson has been on the cover of magazine after magazine after magazine (wait, there’s more), it’s almost like she’s promoting herself or something. Like she has a movie coming out sometime soon. Like…oh, wait. She does. And here she is on the cover of yet another mag. It’s a publication I’ve never heard of, but whatever.
