So Jessica Simpson has just been dumped by her cowboy, Tony Romo. And so this gives us a reason to go back in time where everything seem to be a fairytale.

After reading the first three parts, you must be wondering what the Invisible Children are doing to help those poor kids. Well, on April 25th, they staged an event called the RESCUE in 100 cities across 10 countries worldwide. On the event, people symbolically “abducted” themselves in solidarity with the child soldiers and were rescued by a local luminary or celebrity. Here’s the last part of Pete’s article:

Here’s where you come in. On April 25th, Invisible Children is staging an event called the RESCUE, in 100 cities across 10 countries worldwide. Thousands of people are going to symbolically ‘abduct’ themselves and stand in solidarity with all the abducted children forced to fight as soldiers. In turn, every group will be ‘rescued’ by a celebrity, politician, local luminary — someone who will make noise and bring the media out. I will be there, in Washington, D.C. standing in solidarity with thousands of other people so that these kids in Uganda will be noticed. And if no cultural leader shows up in one particular city, then everyone in the surrounding cites that were rescued, will take a bus to join them. This will continue until every participating city is rescued. Now, this could take days, or even weeks, but it’s going to happen.

Pete, go on the way that you’re going and not only will people change their thoughts of you, but more importantly, participate in the causes that you so proudly believe in.

Awww…this show of support is really too much. But I’m sure that Jessica Simpson, the singer/ actress who has been brought through the grinder because of her “weight” issue, is sure to be feeling grateful for all the support of all the celebrities who have got her back.

Now, Buzznet of MTV is added to the list. Just this week, they gave us five reasons why they still “GOTS LURV FOR” Jess.

5. Daisy Duke: Ok, so sure that Dukes of Hazzard movie kinda sucked, and Major Movie Star doesn’t look much better. But we are quite sure we will never be able to erase the image of Jessica in that bikini from our brains… or forget her sugary sweet Southern drawl, y’all.

4. Sister Sister: Pete Wentz’s wifey and Jess’s younger sis, Ashlee Simpson thinks everyone should STFU about the mom jeans and the weight, and fine… we happen to really dig the sisterly bond that Jess and Ash share.

1. Virgin Warrior: Jess was a friggin P-I-O-N-E-E-R! She was an out-of-the-closet virgin back when bein’ one wasn’t necessarily a Jonas-y badge of honor; she was one of the first genuine reality TV stars; AND she has no problem tellin’ the world she’ll always be daddy’s girl… boots, bikini, Mom Jeans, and all.

So, thanks to Buzznet, the Pray Out Loud singer’s fans are reminded why they love her and the non-fans are reminded why they tolerated her in the first place. Show me some love people!

With her sister, brother-in-law, and celebrity friends jumping to her defense, it feels that Jessica Simpson can’t ask for more support. But more support is coming her way, this time from a slightly unexpected source: her ex-husband, Nick Lachey.

Nick, who got divorced from Jess in 2006 after four years of marriage, usually keeps his mouth shut when the topic of Jessica comes up. However, he proved that he’s on Jessica’s side when finally spoke up after being confronted by nasty issues about his ex-wife’s weight.

“I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she’s happy – whatever size that comes in,” the former 98Degrees member said in a short interview with Extra last Friday night, at a Super Bowl party, which he co-hosted with NASCAR driver, Jimmie Johnson.

“I can’t believe it’s this big of a story and people are making such a huge deal about it. I’ll never cease to be amazed by people’s reactions to things.”

And for those curious about what good ol’ Nick is up to these days, he is currently busy spreading good will to all men. He’s at Tampa, Florida with Jimmie, to kick start the Super Skins Celebrity Golf Classic, which aims to raise money for the Nich Lachey Foundation and Jimmie Johnson Foundation.

“The point is for everybody to have a chance to earn some valuable money for their charity,” he says. “Everyone who played last year, had such a great time, [they] came back this year. We’re very fortunate.”

Good luck, Nick!

News of the couple, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo, getting engaged has been buzzing around for quite a while, and now a source has come out, saying that an engagement is definitely on it’s way.

“An engagement is on the way,” a source reveals to Us Weekly, while adding that, “They(Jess and Tony) are getting there and they will announce it when it happens.”

Hmmmm…doubtful? Let’s look at the signs, shall we?

First, the Dallas Cowboy quarterback, had a family dinner with Jessica’s family (papa Joe and mama Tina, with sister, Ashlee), at La Loggia Ristorante, LA, on January 13.

Second, the football star was seen golfing with papa Joe, on January 9. The clubbing experience was again repeated on January 14, the day after the family dinner affair.

Next, on the night of the 14th, Tony and Jess were seen cuddling on a couch at the Bar Deluxe in LA, while the singer’s sister and girl friends went off to have fun by themselves, since the couple were too engrossed in their own worlds to care about anything else.

Now, Jess on the other hand, has been busy too. She was included in the 2008 edition of the Dallas Cowboys’ Family Cookbook, although she isn’t an official Cowboy wife.

Next, she reportedly, “ran to Tony’s side” when the latter got an injury from a game against the Eagles last month. After the injury, Tony was ordered to rest, and so the couple hightailed it to Miami, where Jess was “being a good doctor” to her injured beau.

Jessica has already declared that, “I just told him (Tony) today, ‘You’re the love of my life,” she confessed to People back in August, “I don’t really ever say that to anybody.”

So, let’s just wait (and hope) for the official engagement announcement to come, eh?

Hey there guys! After being in hiatus for quite some time, Simpson Watch has finally got itself a new writer. And yup! That is me!

So who am I?

I am Rechelle Ann Tolinero. I have been blogging here in 451Press for more than a year now (1 year and 5 months to be exact) with Celebrity Fashion Watch and Paris Hilton Watch as my blogs.

If you’ve noticed on my two other blogs, I have some kind of a fetish over Hollywood celebrities – their lives and their fashion statements! It seems like my day wouldn’t be complete without me trying to sneak in the latest hits and misses in celebrity fashion, and find out the latest happenings in celebrity lives.

And as if my two 451press blogs and three personal blogs aren’t enough, here I am adding another one with Simpson Watch.

Why the Simpsons?

Well first, I have always found Jessica’s and Ashlee’s lives interesting; I cried when Jess divorced with Nick Lachey (yeah, too million years ago) and I sang along Ashlee’s songs, too. But no, I don’t really think I’d call myself a fan, not really. Like Paris Hilton Watch, I’d rather be neither a fan nor a hater so I can at least try to be objective.

For Jessica Simpson, Valentine’s Day was spent Texas-style: The singer and beau Tony Romo dined together at Nove Italiano restaurant in Dallas.

“All eyes were on them,” one insider says of the singer and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. “But they sat in a corner booth to try and get some privacy.”

Oh, wow. So, it would seem that I have this blog, SimpsonWatch.com. And I’m supposed to post on it about Ashlee and Jessica.

Except…I kind of kept putting it off, and putting it off, and there was just so much more interesting things to write about Britney Spears, and so I kept putting it off…until finally, I remembered: hey. Didn’t I used to write a Simpson blog also? I should really get on that.

So…what have Jessica and Ashlee been up to lately? Not much, truth be told. But I’ll still share some tidbits with you:

Ashlee, it seems, is left denying rumors whether she’s ever used Botox. This seems kind of obvious, she’s only 23 after all, but the rumors started swirling and now she’s trying to do damage control. So she’s saying, “NO, I DON’T USE BOTOX” and crediting her eyebrows to her makeup artist. Whatever. Do we really care about this? I say: No. Moving along! (more…)

Bam Margera, the star of Jackass and Viva La Bam, has come clean about his romance with Jessica Simpson. Bam and Jessica were romantically linked in 2005 while Jessica was still married to Nick Lachey. Bam is now married to his childhood sweetheart, Missy Rothstein, and we all know that Jessica is, unfortunately, divorced from Nick.

Jessica has always, always denied the rumors of a romance with Bam. Bam has adamantly boasted that he and Jessica briefly dated. Recently, Bam started talking about their brief romance again - and he came clean about the truth, admitting that his fling with Jessica ended when Bam’s former fiancee discovered the affair. Yes, Ashlee Simpson has an alter ego, Vicky Valentine, and I’m curious to know (a) how long Vicky has existed and (b) how Ashlee came up with the name. It kind of sounds like a porn star’s name, doesn’t it? Or at least a stripper.

Ashlee says about Vicky: “You will know when Vicky is in the room” (presumably because Vicky is wild and crazy). I guess it’s really Vicky Valentine that has been dating Pete Wentz, then? Ashlee has been hard at work on her latest album, which due out in November. Read more about the album: (more…)
