Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo were spotted together not only once, but twice this past Thanksgiving weekend! The couple showed up at Jessica’s grandparents new home in Waco, Texas, on November 23rd, reports In Touch Weekly.

The family visit followed dinner at Dragonfly in Dallas the evening before.

Oh, wow. So, it would seem that I have this blog, SimpsonWatch.com. And I’m supposed to post on it about Ashlee and Jessica.

Except…I kind of kept putting it off, and putting it off, and there was just so much more interesting things to write about Britney Spears, and so I kept putting it off…until finally, I remembered: hey. Didn’t I used to write a Simpson blog also? I should really get on that.

So…what have Jessica and Ashlee been up to lately? Not much, truth be told. But I’ll still share some tidbits with you:

Ashlee, it seems, is left denying rumors whether she’s ever used Botox. This seems kind of obvious, she’s only 23 after all, but the rumors started swirling and now she’s trying to do damage control. So she’s saying, “NO, I DON’T USE BOTOX” and crediting her eyebrows to her makeup artist. Whatever. Do we really care about this? I say: No. Moving along! (more…)

Bam Margera, the star of Jackass and Viva La Bam, has come clean about his romance with Jessica Simpson. Bam and Jessica were romantically linked in 2005 while Jessica was still married to Nick Lachey. Bam is now married to his childhood sweetheart, Missy Rothstein, and we all know that Jessica is, unfortunately, divorced from Nick.

Jessica has always, always denied the rumors of a romance with Bam. Bam has adamantly boasted that he and Jessica briefly dated. Recently, Bam started talking about their brief romance again - and he came clean about the truth, admitting that his fling with Jessica ended when Bam’s former fiancee discovered the affair. Now that Jessica has finished filming “Major Movie Star”, she’s got more time for the important things in life. Well, important to her, anyway.

She’s been seen lunching with her sister, showing off her Valentino bag and (lest your forget her origins) singing! I can’t confirm the rumor, but I hear that she’s working on a country album. With Willie Nelson. In Nashville. (more…)

Jessica Simpson is reportedly planning to have a baby with her gay hairdresser.

I know, I know. I couldn’t believe it either. What’s more, I couldn’t find anything to back up that claim, other than other gossip sites. Allegedly, More magazine (which doesn’t make sense, because it is for women ages 40+, and Jessica Simpson is like HALF that age, but whatever) has reported that the singer-actress wants to be artificially inseminated with the help of her long-term friend Ken Paves. Joe Simpson and Pete Wentz whooped up on some bodyguards who hassled their beloved Ashlee Simpson the other night.

It happened when the group was trying to leave a party at the Mirage. Bouncers let Ashlee, Papa Joe and boyfriend Pete pass through to get to their waiting SUV, but they stuck out their arms and stopped the rest of their entourage. Pete demanded that they let his buddies through, screaming “This is my car! I paid for this car!” along with some choice expletives. (more…)

Ashlee Simpson joined her big sister, Jessica, in New York City for Fashion Week. Jess is nowhere to be found in these photos, but Ashlee and her mom, Tina, look like they’re having a ball at BCBG Max Azria’s show. And who’s that sitting next to Ashlee and Tina? Like she has a movie coming out sometime soon. Like…oh, wait. She does. And here she is on the cover of yet another mag. It’s a publication I’ve never heard of, but whatever. If you don’t believe in the healing powers of love, believe this (or at least entertain the rumor): Ashlee Simpson saved her boyfriend, Pete Wentz, from depression and suicide. According to an article published by Stuff, Pete is ready to put his wild partying behind him and settle down.

Pete said: “I picture myself having a family now. Before, my dreams were about being in a huge band. Now, my dreams are of back yards and hanging out. It’s a progression for me, trying to figure out what’s normal.”

The 22-year-old - who has battled depression and prescription drugs - is rumoured to be engaged to Ashlee, also 22, and says he now has a reason to live.

Ashlee recently hooked up with Seventeen magazine for a photo shoot, and unlike some celebrities (ahem, Britney Spears!), the spread turned out delightfully. Jessica Simpson’s dad Joe talks about the many “interesting” roles Jessica has been offered over the years:

She’s always been herself on camera, but Jessica Simpson isn’t ready to show all of herself on camera.

“The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star,” Jessica’s father and manager, Joe Simpson, told PEOPLE at Thursday’s ABC Television Critics Association party in Beverly Hills.

“We were promised we would win an Oscar with that,” says Simpson, 49. “I was like, ‘Eh, we’ll just buy a [statue of a] little man and keep our clothes on.’ ”

Since she shot to fame in 2003 with ex-husband Nick Lachey on MTV’s Newlyweds Jessica Simpson, 27, has been receiving quirky TV-show proposals “every day,” according to her father.

“We’re pitched those a lot,” he says. “There are a lot of cool ones, and a lot of really strange ones.”

Currently, Papa Simpson is promoting ABC’s fall series The Women’s Murder Club, which he is producing with Rush Hour director Brett Ratner. No plans are underway for Jessica or her younger sister Ashlee Simpson, 22, to appear on the show.

“They’re very busy, and they’re happy,” Joe Simpson says of his daughters. “Jessica has three more movies to shoot; she has a new record coming in September. If the right role came up, of course, we’d never turn that down.”

Yesterday we reported that Ashlee Simpson may be engaged to Pete Wentz. But now it looks like she could be more than just engaged…

The National Ledger has reported that Ashlee may be carrying Pete Wentz’ spawn - the rumors began when Ashlee was seen continually rubbing her belly. The report also notes that at a family wedding on 7-7-07 (they skipped the Paris wedding of Eva and Tony to stay at home with the family) sparked rumors that she might in fact be pregnant. “Ashlee may have helped start the rumors herself…She was at a family wedding and was wandering around rubbing her belly. And she refused to drink anything.”

Ok, poor Ashlee Simpson has rumors flying everywhere at the moment about her. Here’s another one. She might be engaged to Pete Wentz!

Nothing’s been confirmed, so hold off on having your head explode for now, but sources tell Pop Crunch that Wentz proposed to Simpson backstage at Live Earth before he performed with his Fall Out Boy bandmates. “Ashlee wasn’t expecting it at all; it was a total surprise,” says the source. “Pete whipped out a big engagement ring, dropped down on one knee and asked Ashlee to be his bride. Ashlee says it was romantic, sexy - and that she said ‘yes’ right away.”

“Ashlee and Pete are desperate to keep the engagement quiet for as long as they can so they can make wedding plans in peace,” says a pal of Ashlee’s. “All she wants is a simple ceremony with her family, his family and a handful of people.”
