Oooohhhhh…don’t you just love rumors?! Especially if they’re about our favorite Simpson sisters. Right now, it isn’t about Jessica Simpson, but the younger sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who is rumored to be pregnant with baby number two!

When the couple celebrated their first year anniversary (congratulations, by the way!), the rumor mill went abuzz with the juice that Ashlee and husband, Fall Out Boy rocker, Pete Wentz, are expecting another baby, as written by Star Magazine. They reported that Ash was just a few weeks along and was very happily expecting her second baby and that she was so thrilled to give their baby boy, Bronx Mowgli, a new brother or sister. The magazine also said that the pop singer was expecting that this baby would bring her and her husband even closer because their hectic schedules have strained their relationship.

“… She loves Pete and wants to hang on to him. She believes this second baby will really clinch the deal,” the tabloid reportedly writes.

However, these rumors proved to be false. Ash’s father and manager, Joe Simpson, quickly quenched the wildfire gossips by drenching it in water, courtesy of his blog.

“Just totally not true!!” Contactmusic quoted him as stating on his blog.

Papa Joe also congratulated his daughter on her anniversary. “One year ago today… My baby got married!! Congrats Ash and Pete,” he added.

Meanwhile, the family of three was spotted at New York City. Mommy Ash was there to go to the CW event while Papa Pete was let to have some quality “for the boys” time with baby Bronx. I must say that the three of them looked pretty happy and cozy together. It seems that the couple has overcome the teeny bit of scandal that Pete was in when he appeared in pictures partying in Las Vegas with skimpily-clad girls. Does Ashlee have the patience of a saint or what!

Don’t you just hate it when so-called “friends” blab about your problems to the press, the people you would least want it revealed to?

Young couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz has had a marriage and a baby all in a year. And now the couple is rumored to be following in the steps of other Hollywood failed romances. That is to say: rumored relationship, then couple sightings, then engagement rumors, then a marriage and a baby (whichever comes first), then a happy few months of marital bliss, then a falling out, which all culminates to a break-up.

While spokespeople from both camps have hastened to deny any problems in the marital front, a few “friends” (they should be called “enemies” or “jealous louts”) have “revealed” that Ash is unhappy while Pete is bored.

“Ashlee thinks Pete doesn’t pay her enough attention and is out partying too much,” said a longtime Texas pal. “He needs to work on their marriage more.”

Another Simpson-Wentz insider is less certain of a true rift in the young married duo’s relationship, but thinks, “Ashlee is feeling a bit neglected [by Pete] in recent weeks. … Pete does seem kind of bored lately, and he doesn’t talk about Ashlee like he used to. The gushing has stopped.”

“Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

Oh, please!

“This is not true. Everything is fine in their world,” a representative for Ashlee told The New York Post.

“We’re still going steady. She’s still wearing my letterman jacket,” Pete wrote to MTV news. “And you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the Internet. It’s nonsense.”

Oh well. Who’re you gonna believe? The jealous louts – erm, the friends, a.k.a. “sources” – of the representative and the couple themselves?

First he shares about the ‘amazing’ sex life he has with his wife, Ashlee Simpson. Now Pete Wentz confessed about having tried Ashlee’s (guess what?!) breast milk.

Rocker Ryan Cabrera seems to have his mind on babies.

After visiting Lisa Marie Presley’s 2-month old twin girls, Finley and Harper, the singer tells Usmagazine.com, “They’re amazing! She’s awesome and they’re awesome,” he said. “They’re just always together.”

26-year old Ryan is currently dating Riley Keough, Lisa’s 19-year old daughter. Lisa and husband, Michael Lockwood, are both doing well, he said.

When asked about other Hollywood babies he plans on meeting, the singer said that he wants to meet Bronx Mowgli. Now, it should be remembered that he and Bronx’s mom, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, dated from 2004 until 2005, though, the two are still friends, according to Ryan.

“I haven’t talked to them too much,” he said after the topic of Bronx’s mom and dad, Pete Wentz was brought up.

“I’ll probably at some point go and say hi,” he added.

If he and Ashlee are still friends, how about his relationship with Riley? “Everything’s great…wonderful,” said the rocker.

As Ashlee Simpson-Wentz finally gave birth to baby Bronx Mowgli, everybody in the couple’s family and friends seems too elated to contain their excitement with the news.

Yahoo news just reported that the rumors are true - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are engaged! Here’s the scoop:

Ashlee Simpson and her rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz are engaged.

“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best,” Simpson said in a statement posted Wednesday on People magazine’s Web site. “Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged.”

Simpson’s manager-father, Joe Simpson, told the magazine he’s “totally happy” and “so excited to have Pete as part of (our) family.”

The couple began dating in fall 2006, according to People.

Wentz, 28, is bassist for Fall Out Boy. Simpson, 23, a singer, songwriter and actress, is the younger sister of pop star Jessica Simpson. Ashlee Simpson’s new album, “Bittersweet World,” is set for release on April 22.

A phone message left Wednesday for Joe Simpson by The Associated Press was not immediately returned.

Joe Simpson and Pete Wentz whooped up on some bodyguards who hassled their beloved Ashlee Simpson the other night.

It happened when the group was trying to leave a party at the Mirage. Bouncers let Ashlee, Papa Joe and boyfriend Pete pass through to get to their waiting SUV, but they stuck out their arms and stopped the rest of their entourage. Pete demanded that they let his buddies through, screaming “This is my car! I paid for this car!” along with some choice expletives. (more…)

Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz joined his lovely girlfriend, Ashlee Simpson, at the MTV VMAs in Las Vegas, and I must say: he looked happier than I’ve ever seen him in a long time. Relaxed, even. Of course, that might be because he’s trying to win big money…(not that he needs it).

If you don’t believe in the healing powers of love, believe this (or at least entertain the rumor): Ashlee Simpson saved her boyfriend, Pete Wentz, from depression and suicide. According to an article published by Stuff, Pete is ready to put his wild partying behind him and settle down.

Pete said: “I picture myself having a family now. Before, my dreams were about being in a huge band. Now, my dreams are of back yards and hanging out. It’s a progression for me, trying to figure out what’s normal.”

The 22-year-old - who has battled depression and prescription drugs - is rumoured to be engaged to Ashlee, also 22, and says he now has a reason to live.

Oh, Ashlee. Honey, you’ve been with Pete long enough, everyone knows that you’re a couple, and you’re worried about some floozie in a low-cut top and short, short, shoooorrrrtttt skirt taking a picture with Pete?

Sources say that Ashlee Simpson is the jealous type, and proved it last weekend in Chicago. She and Pete Wentz stopped by the Blender Sessions at the Hard Rock Hotel to help Crobar Chicago co-owner Mike Matushcka celebrate his 40th birthday. While they were there, Ashlee laid down the law and refused to let ANY girl come between herself and her man. According to rumors, any time a female fan tried to take a picture with Pete, Ashlee would whine and drag him away.

That doesn’t sound like a woman who’s very secure in her relationship.

My prediction: Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. Expect a breakup soon!

Lately, every time I see a picture of Ashlee and Pete, I have to admit that I’m liking them more and more. And that is kind of hard for me to admit, because in general I really don’t like Pete, and I find Ashlee the tiniest bit annoying, which is why I don’t really comment about her personally a lot on this site.

But now? My whole plan of cynicism is RUINED, because I’m starting to like them. Both. Well, as a couple, at least. So, to celebrate, here are some candids of the pair having coffee a week ago. Because I’m generous like that.

Last week, Ashlee Simpson and her rocker boyfriend, Pete Wentz, were seen leaving the restaurant Toast. The two look happy together, despite recent rumors of their engagement and pregnancy. Both have denied the validity to either rumor, but we’re still holding out hope for the happy couple!

I guess someone had their wires crossed because Ashlee Simpson denies the pregnancy and engagement rumors that have been buzzing around the internet. Too bad, I bet she’d look adorable with a baby bump!

Ashlee Simpson has quashed rumours she is engaged to Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz or pregnant with his baby.

The Hollyscoop girls cite a source that says, “Ashlee wasn’t expecting it at all, it was a total surprise,” a blab said. “Pete whipped out a big engagement ring, dropped down on one knee, and asked Ashlee to be his bride. Ashlee says it was romantic, sexy - and that she said yes right away.”

The pair began dating earlier this year (07), with gossip websites in the U.S. alleging Wentz had proposed to the singer before his band’s performance at the Live Earth event earlier this month (07Jul07).

Wesbite Popcrunch claimed the engagement was kept a secret because of the failure of sister Jessica’s marriage to Nick Lachey, which ended in divorce in 2006.

But a spokesperson for Simpson tells UsMagazine.com Wentz and Simpson’s engagement rumours are “absolutely not true”.

Yesterday we reported that Ashlee Simpson may be engaged to Pete Wentz. But now it looks like she could be more than just engaged…

The National Ledger has reported that Ashlee may be carrying Pete Wentz’ spawn - the rumors began when Ashlee was seen continually rubbing her belly. The report also notes that at a family wedding on 7-7-07 (they skipped the Paris wedding of Eva and Tony to stay at home with the family) sparked rumors that she might in fact be pregnant. “Ashlee may have helped start the rumors herself…She was at a family wedding and was wandering around rubbing her belly. And she refused to drink anything.”
