Do you want to count down to New Year in the very same room as Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz? Well, your dreams may come true! That is, if you have $200- $5000 to spare.

The couple, singer/ actress Ashlee and Fall Out Boy’s bassist/ songwriter Pete, are ringing in the New Year at PURE, Las Vegas. And since they already have a baby boy, you can be rest assured that these young parents are already masters at staying up late.

But what is your money’s worth, you may ask? For those of you who don’t quite have $5000 to throw away, uhm - that is, to spare, what you will have is entrance to the club. That’s it. For $200 you have club entrance, then you will be made to spend a ton more of money for your drinks. For those of you who have thousands of bucks to spend, you get a table for 10, some complimentary bottles, and a “Personal Service Team including security guard, waitress and porter.”

Okay. But who knows? MAYBE Ash’s big sister, Jessica Simpson along with beau, Tony Romo, will make an appearance. Or MAYBE, the rest (yes, Pete Wentz is NOT the only member of the band, there are three more) of Fall Out Boy will show up. So, keep your fingers crossed, eh?

For those of you who don’t have $5000 to throw away, why not spend your New Year with your families? Or use that extra 5000 bucks to spend on food to stuff your mouths and fireworks to possibly injure fingers? Much nicer, don’t you think?

Before baby son, Bronx Mowgli was born in November, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are already the proud parents of their feisty English bulldog, named Hemingway. Such is their pride that Hemingway has appeared on a number of magazine covers and music videos with his owners, and even participated in the couple’s wedding ceremonies.

But it seems that little Hemingway has a little attitude cum obedience problem. Apparently, he has an increasingly alarming aggression, which just would not do when the baby would have arrived. Thus, the then-expecting parents hired the help of the famous “Dog Whisperer”, Cesar Milan, to help with their little darling’s obedience training.

“I find myself avoiding other dogs. I avoid going to dog parks,” Pete says.

“The first time I noticed Hemingway had some issues was whenever I would see him around other dogs, he would be aggressive,” exposed Ashlee, “We [were] about to have a baby, so it [was] a big concern.”

Curious about what the “Dog Whisperer” taught the couple? Well, first off, he taught them how to properly hold Hemingway’s leash when going out for walks, and also how to use the treadmill with both Hemingway and their five-month-old bulldog, named Rigby.

“Dogs don’t care how rich or famous you are; they only know who’s the leader and who’s the follower,” Cesar says. “My job was to teach Pete and Ashlee how to take the leadership role before their baby came into the picture.”

“The thing I liked is that Cesar related [the training] to family and it was a metaphor for something larger in your life,” Pete says.

But the question is, has Hemingway’s attitude changed? To find out the answer, tune in on “Dog Whisperer”, which premiers today, Sunday, December 28, on the National Geographic Channel. This special episode is the big start of National Geographic Channel’s “Dog Whisperer” week, which runs until Friday, January 22.

First he shares about the ‘amazing’ sex life he has with his wife, Ashlee Simpson. Now Pete Wentz confessed about having tried Ashlee’s (guess what?!) breast milk.

Rocker Ryan Cabrera seems to have his mind on babies.

After visiting Lisa Marie Presley’s 2-month old twin girls, Finley and Harper, the singer tells Usmagazine.com, “They’re amazing! She’s awesome and they’re awesome,” he said. “They’re just always together.”

26-year old Ryan is currently dating Riley Keough, Lisa’s 19-year old daughter. Lisa and husband, Michael Lockwood, are both doing well, he said.

When asked about other Hollywood babies he plans on meeting, the singer said that he wants to meet Bronx Mowgli. Now, it should be remembered that he and Bronx’s mom, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, dated from 2004 until 2005, though, the two are still friends, according to Ryan.

“I haven’t talked to them too much,” he said after the topic of Bronx’s mom and dad, Pete Wentz was brought up.

“I’ll probably at some point go and say hi,” he added.

If he and Ashlee are still friends, how about his relationship with Riley? “Everything’s great…wonderful,” said the rocker.

When asked by Daily 10’s Michael Yo about his wife’s most appealing feature, new dad Pete Wentz playfully replies, “I would start with the breasts.”

Don’t get him wrong though. His love for wife Ashlee Simpson goes beyond her hot body. He added more seriously, that they make a great couple simply because they understand each other.

In an exclusive interview aired last night, Thursday, Pete says, “Ashlee is the kind of person that understands me in a way that other human beings don’t understand each other. I would say that we fit together kind of like Lego pieces, and that’s how we’re able to communicate.”

And not only that, he also adds that Ashlee always puts him first and is always by his side to lend a helping hand.

“She’s always there for me, she always has my back no matter what,” says Pete. “If I have to leave at 6 a.m. to go somewhere, she’s packing my bag for me. I’m like, ‘What are you doing up at 6 a.m.?’ and she’s packing my bag.”

It must be true love that makes wives get up at dawn to pack their husband’s bag. But she goes beyond packing bags for him and publicly supports whatever endeavor her hubby has, like showing up at the Fall Out Boy’s performance last Monday, and then at the “Without You I’m Just Me” exhibit on Tuesday.

Oh, by the way, Fall Out Boy’s new album, Folie à Deux, hits stores next Tuesday, December 16.

New mom, Ashlee Simpson, made her first public appearance last Monday since giving birth to Bronx Mowgli. She went out to watch her husband, Pete Wentz, perform with his band, Fall Out Boy. Wearing a coat to hide her post-baby body, she popped by the West Hollywood Troubadour Club to support her husband.

For a time anyway. December 9 marked another milestone for Pete Wentz as he and Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, revealed their art portfolio, “Without You I’m Just Me” at the Gallery 1988 in West Hollywood. The gallery was open to the public from 6:00- 9:00 PM, and then a VIP reception followed from 9:00 – 11:00 PM for the artists’ friends and family.

Yep, that’s right! “2008’s Quirkiest Baby Names“, courtesy of OMG!, a celebrity website supported by Yahoo! Entertainment.

He grew up near Chicago and she hails from Texas — yet, inexplicably, the rock-star couple named their son after one of the toughest boroughs in New York City. The other babies who made it to the list are: Sunday Rose (Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s little bundle of joy, named after the day she was born), Zuma Nesta Rock (baby boy of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, named after a beach in Malibu and Bob Marley’s middle name), Honor Marie (daughter of Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, named after uhm, “honor” because the couple wanted their kid to grow up with dignity and respect), and Buster Timothy (son of Johnny Lee Miller and Michele Hicks, who wanted to combine quirkiness with tradition).

It’s quite apparent that the time when a simple “John” or “Michael” for the boys, and “Mary” or “Michelle” for the girls, has apparently passed. I guess that it’s easy for the parents to bestow a “quirky” name to their kid, but I think that they should keep in mind that they won’t be through an entirely lifetime being called with it. But then again, who cares if their names are weird, as long as they have millionaire parents and pampered lives, then the names don’t really matter. Their parents would still love them anyway, even sans the quirky names.

Well browsing over the internet for some Ashlee and Jessica Simpson news, I landed over this article from JustJared.com which is about OK! Magazine’s error in spelling Ashlee Simpson’s name – on its cover!

Instead of “Ashlee,” the weekly magazine spelled it as “Ashley”.

So what can OK! say about this mistake?

A representative for the mag tells Page Six, “It is highly embarrassing and, sadly, someone will probably be fired.” Uh-oh…

Now it sure is sad that somebody has to get fired for just misspelling a star’s name. On second thought, this really isn’t a “just” matter; errors like this should really be taken seriously. I mean, in a journalistic sense, the magazine will lose its sense of ‘accuracy’ with this.

But this kind of mistake could’ve really been prevented; you know, if the writer misspelled Ashlee’s name, the editor and the proofreader could sure have corrected it.

Who can better understand new parents than a new parent, too.

And so for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, pop diva, Christina Aguilera extends her warmest welcome for the two in the ranks of Hollywood parentsville.

In an interview with MTV News last Sunday, after her performance at the American Music Awards, Christina, who actually did not know that Ashlee already gave birth sent her congratulations to the couple.

“Oh, did they give birth? Oh, how exciting! Congratulations. I give my best. They’re about to be on the ride of their life. It’s just the most amazing thing you could ever experience,” Christina, who’s also new mom herself said.

Aside from being a mom to her son, Max Liron and a wife to Jordan Bratman, Christina is also busy promoting her latest album, “Keeps Gettin’ Better — A Decade of Hits” which is a collection of the singer’s most memorable songs and two brand-new singles.

Well this isn’t really news; with people’s fetish over Hollywood babies, I would not doubt if Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’ firstborn’s first photos will be worth millions.

But for ‘argument’ sake, how much do you think Bronx Mowgli’s first magazine pics will be?

Well Monsters and Critics.com reports that Ashlee and Pete could possibly get a whooping $2million for their baby’s precious photos.

“I see Ashlee and Pete coming in at the low seven figures mark. Two million seems like a good, solid figure for Ashlee and Pete. It’s a two-celeb couple, so that’s a boost for them,” publicist Howard Bragman stated.

Then again we should keep in mind that the prices being set for Hollywood babies is going up and down depending on the parent’s status, and of course, popularity.

And so Bragman added, “Keep in mind, last year, Ashlee was the girl who sang along to the tape recorder. It was a PR nightmare. Now, she’s a newlywed and a new mom, so she’s a lot more relatable.” Bragman also advices that the couple should really learn from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who’ve millions from their children’s baby photos.

“Nobody does this better than Angelina. She and Brad Pitt have been very careful to make it clear that the money they’ve been getting has been part of their charity outreach work. The big bucks are a nice perk, but for them, the publicity is priceless,” he adds.

Now that is one good tip, huh?! ‘Guess we’ll just have to wait for now which big-time magazine publication will feature Ashlee and Pete’s precious baby on their front page.

As Ashlee Simpson-Wentz finally gave birth to baby Bronx Mowgli, everybody in the couple’s family and friends seems too elated to contain their excitement with the news.

The looooooong wait is over for Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Pete Wentz.

After what People calls as the ‘longest pregnancy’ ever, Jessica Simpson’s little sister delivered her first son last Thursday.

Weighing 7 lbs., 11 oz. and a height of 20 1/2 inches long, Bronx Mowgli Wentz sure is Ashlee’s and Pete’s bundle of joy now.

So where’d they get those names? Well Bronx is per capita the poorest of New York City’s famous five boroughs. Mowgli was the name of the kid in The Jungle Book. Unique, isn’t it?

Actually, the name kind of reminds of JLo’s “Jenny from the Block.” Oh well, they’re the parents… all we can say is just congratulations to the new family! I’m sure we will be seeing more of Ashlee and Bronx in the coming issues of a magazine with the highest bid.

Yahoo news just reported that the rumors are true - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are engaged! Here’s the scoop:

Ashlee Simpson and her rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz are engaged.

“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best,” Simpson said in a statement posted Wednesday on People magazine’s Web site. “Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged.”

Simpson’s manager-father, Joe Simpson, told the magazine he’s “totally happy” and “so excited to have Pete as part of (our) family.”

The couple began dating in fall 2006, according to People.

Wentz, 28, is bassist for Fall Out Boy. Simpson, 23, a singer, songwriter and actress, is the younger sister of pop star Jessica Simpson. Ashlee Simpson’s new album, “Bittersweet World,” is set for release on April 22.

A phone message left Wednesday for Joe Simpson by The Associated Press was not immediately returned.

Ashlee Simpson has come a long way since being a style wallflower in the shadow of older sister Jessica. “I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that,” the 23-year-old singer tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

But Simpson – who has churned through countless haircuts and colors over her six years of stardom – has graced recent covers of Cosmopolitan, CosmoGirl! and Seventeen. Now she’s the cover girl on Us’ 2008 Beauty Makeover Special issue, which includes 30 pages of bonus makeovers, tips, and star style.

“I definitely embrace my sexy side, but at the end of the day, I still feel like the girl next door,” she tells Us. “I like to get dressed up now, and that’s something I’ve never been into before.” Simpson also opens up to Us about her April 2006 rhinoplasty. “I think as long as people have two eyes, then you probably know the answer,” she says.

“[Plastic surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time,” she tells Us. “Once you know it’s something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own.” Still, the singer downplays her own transformation. “I was never really unhappy with how I looked, [and] I don’t think I am more beautiful than I was [before],” Simpson tells Us. “I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day.”
