Don’t you just hate it when so-called “friends” blab about your problems to the press, the people you would least want it revealed to?

Young couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz has had a marriage and a baby all in a year. And now the couple is rumored to be following in the steps of other Hollywood failed romances. That is to say: rumored relationship, then couple sightings, then engagement rumors, then a marriage and a baby (whichever comes first), then a happy few months of marital bliss, then a falling out, which all culminates to a break-up.

While spokespeople from both camps have hastened to deny any problems in the marital front, a few “friends” (they should be called “enemies” or “jealous louts”) have “revealed” that Ash is unhappy while Pete is bored.

“Ashlee thinks Pete doesn’t pay her enough attention and is out partying too much,” said a longtime Texas pal. “He needs to work on their marriage more.”

Another Simpson-Wentz insider is less certain of a true rift in the young married duo’s relationship, but thinks, “Ashlee is feeling a bit neglected [by Pete] in recent weeks. … Pete does seem kind of bored lately, and he doesn’t talk about Ashlee like he used to. The gushing has stopped.”

“Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

Oh, please!

“This is not true. Everything is fine in their world,” a representative for Ashlee told The New York Post.

“We’re still going steady. She’s still wearing my letterman jacket,” Pete wrote to MTV news. “And you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the Internet. It’s nonsense.”

Oh well. Who’re you gonna believe? The jealous louts – erm, the friends, a.k.a. “sources” – of the representative and the couple themselves?

During an appearance in the Australian MTV Awards, Ashlee Simpson, got the attention of online snarkfest, Go Fug Yourself, which is “synonymous with the (sometimes unfair) critiquing of celebrities’ sartorial choice,” according to Pedestrian.TV.

The post is composed of a faux-dialogue between Ashlee and hubby, Pete Wentz on the use of Ash’s Ellery dress’s back draping as a baby sling. Read the entire dialogue below.

PETE WENTZ: Ashlee? You’re supposed to be smiling more.

PETE: … Hmm. Actually, that’s not a bad silver lining. Just try not to have the kid in it when it happens.

I actually found it funny. Though I think that Ash’s dress was gorgeous on her, but I was also wondering what the black drape on her back was for. This was just a fun contemplation on a question that they were also asking themselves.

Aawww…now I’ve come across something that made my heart quite warm.

Ashlee Simpson, new momma to 3-month-old son Bronx Mowgli, and wife to hubby, Pete Wentz, has said that her move to Melrose Place is so that she can be stable enough to be close to her little guy.

“She wanted something stable so she could be close to her baby,” a friend of the singer/actress reveals to People.com.

“She was specifically looking for something in television as her next step, that filmed in Los Angeles, so she wouldn’t have to be away from Bronx,” the source added.

And for those who don’t know yet, Ash, will be playing show’s newest resident, the “sex-kitten” Violet. According to Entertainment Weekly, Violet is a “bright-eyed but shrewd small-town girl and recent L.A. transplant who has come to town with a secret.” Another describes her character as a “small-town girl trying her luck in Los Angeles and will display a disarming naivety (that) masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within.”

Ash’s “pal” (Just wondering, why are there so many pals/ friends/ sources out there who are so keen to spill the beans about their so-called-friends?!) also adds that, “Music is still a passion but (Ashlee) felt this was the best thing for her and her family at this point in her life. She’s really excited about Melrose Place.”

Oh Ash! You’ve got your heart in the right place, but once filming starts, it’s quite doubtful that she would still have that much time for her baby. What with the sure-to-be hectic filming schedule and the following exhaustion, the new momma would barely have time-out for herself, much more for Bronx. But hey! It’s the thought that counts, right?

Finally, we get to see Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s offspring, outside of an internet picture. The three were spotted in LAX and in Brighton and Manchester, England, as the threesome strolled for the Fall Out Boys’ UK tour.

FOB bassist/songwriter, Pete Wentz, tagged along his wife and 3-month-old son, Bronx Mowgli, for the band’s Fall European tour, where they headed off to lovely England. Ash and Bronx spent a week on the road with the famous pop/emo band before returning back home. Hmm, I wonder if Ash continued their mummy-and-me workout during the tour?

Anyways, this is the first time that the papz (and the rest of the camera-toting world) had a chance to snap photos of the Wentzs’ little boy. As most of you may recall, the couple did not want to “pimp” out pictures of their son to the magazines, hiding him, almost jealously, from the rest of the world. But finally, on December, they decided that the best gift that they could give to the people who care about them is a pic of them with their son. That was the first time that people saw Bronx, albeit it showed more of Ash and Pete’s faces than the baby’s, but still.

The young mommy seemed to be protective of her little angel and was seen holding him tightly to her chest, while papa Pete prefers to carry Bronx in a baby basket, with a cover on top, presumably to stop unwanted shutterbugs from taking any pics during their little family outing.

But still, it’s nice to know that Bronx gets time to spend with his mommy and daddy, despite the fact that they’re busy celebs. Hey, the little guy needs these moments, specially now that mom Ash is going to do Melrose Place, and dad Pete will continue with the tour.

Ashlee Simpson will be back on the small screen, and she’s moving into Melrose Place, no less!

The 24-year old mommy to four-month old, Bronx Mowgli, has been tapped to play a lead role in CW’s Melrose Place redux. She will be returning to the television scene after a seven-year hiatus since her breakthrough role on WB’s 7th Heaven.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Melrose Place and I look forward to being a part of its new generation of residents,” she said in a statement to People magazine.

Wondering what her role in Melrose is? Well, it’s been circulating around that the singer/actress will play the show’s newest resident, the “sex-kitten” Violet. According to Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly, Violet is a “bright-eyed but shrewd small-town girl and recent L.A. transplant who has come to town with a secret.” Apparently, Violet has a sex appeal, and she’s not afraid to use it. Oooohhhh…

Now, if Melrose fans would remember, her role will be quite like Amy Locane’s Sandy Harling, who was the original series’ budding Southern belle blonde. Well, I guess the question now will be what Ash’s hair color should be for this part? Would she bleach it blonde, yet again?

Ash will join Katie Cassidy, of Supernatural fame, Michael Rady of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. While it has been rumored that OCstar, Mischa Barton has been sniffing around Melrose Place, no official statement from the show’s people have been made on whether or not she would be starring in the show.

I guess with this new show, hubby Pete Wentz, might need to spend more daddy-son bonding moments with Bronx. Oh well, it will surely do him good anyway! Go, Pete!

New mom Ashlee Simpson has thought of a good bonding activity with son, Bronx Mowgli: a “mummy and me” workout.

Ash, who gave birth to her first child with husband bassist/ composer Pete Wentz in November, is determined to shed off 30 lbs of baby weight. And so has enlisted the help of her son for the workout.

The 24-year old singer, is following Jackie Keller’s 30-day Body After Baby plan, which means completing low-impact exercises, such as playing peek-a-boo with Bronx. She has already lost half of her excess weight goal.

And aside from the peek-a-boo exercise, she’s also closely monitoring the food she eats to ditch the excess pounds, and has taken to eating Nutrifit meals and snacks, which she has delivered daily.

A source revealed that “Ashlee is swapping French toast and sugary syrup for multi-grain bread and berries.”

So what does she do with the food (pizza and other fast-food takeouts) that hubby Pete is fond of bringing home? Well, she still eats them, but she’s cutting down on her intake. She only eats one slice of vegetable-topped pizza.

Hmmm… I wonder who eats the rest of the food? Do you think…uh, never mind.

Do you think that Ash ought to share her diet regimen with “big” sister, Jess? Well, I think that she won’t, because she insists that her sister is in great shape and that she should be left alone. But hey, if it’s good for her health, then she should share some tips, right? Maybe Auntie Jess could do the peek-a-boo exercises with Bronx too!

Ashlee Simpson is seeing red and is on the warpath, so Jess-bashers, beware!

Responding to the overblown media coverage on her “big” sister, Jessica Simpson, new mom Ash, has gone to her blog to air out her frustration and disgust over something she sees as trivial.

This just proves to show that family will always be family, whatever happens, and that they’re the first to write anger- filled blogs in your defense. Kudos to baby sis, Ashlee!

And talking about family, Ash’s husband, rocker Pete Wentz proves that he is indeed part of the Simpson family when he also defended her sister-in-law in an interview with Extra, from the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Tampa, Florida the following day:

“I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general, and I think it’s a bummer,” he adds, “It’s bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows, and that’s a bummer.”

“Real beauty is on the inside, man.” Amen, Pete.

Watch out people, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are out to conquer television!

The new parents are rumoured to appear in an episode of CSI: NY. Looks like the couple are leaving the dirty diapers to the nanny and bringing on the scripts. Curious about what kind of role they will be playing? A gangster-like couple, named Chester Byron and Lia Wickfield, who are more in the lines of “Bonnie and Clyde wannabe’s.”

Michael Ausiello, one of Entertainment Weekly’s reporters reveals that, “Sources confirm to me exclusively that ubiquitous real-life couple Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz just closed a deal to guest star on CSI: NY.”

“A show spokesperson declined to comment, but I’m told the Wentz’ will not be playing themselves in the episode, which is slated to air on March 18,” the excited insider added.

Ausiello closes the article in Entertainment Weekly with, “Question time: Is this cheeky, attention-getting piece of casting a shrewd business decision on the part of CSI: NY producers, or yet another sign of the impending apocalypse?”

People magazine, which gave us their characters’ names, has also reported that Ashlee is set to start shooting this Friday, while Pete hits the sets next week.

So…is anyone other than me, excited to watch the show? I wonder if Pete makes a good actor? I mean, his other half, Ashlee has had her share of TV time, while she played Cecilia Smith in 37 episodes of 7th Heaven. Pete on the other hand, has only show his acting skills in Fall Out Boy’s music videos, and acting as himself in a few shows.

After months of near hibernation, new mom Ashlee Simpson, with partner in crime, big sister, Jessica, is back out with a vengeance!

Ash was seen with some girlfriends, (but thankfully without baby son, Bronx Mowgli in tow, or husband Pete Wentz) while they partied at the Bar Deluxe in Las Vegas, last Thursday night, sporting red hair… again! When we last saw her hosting the PURE New Year’s Eve party with husband, Pete Wentz, she had (then) newly bleached her hair blonde from her previous red locks, saying that she was happy that she was blonde again since she couldn’t very well bleach her head while she was pregnant.

Well, apparently, she wasn’t too happy with her new look because roughly a week later, she lost the blonde, wavy locks, and got back to her previous look of straight, red hair. So just to clear up your minds and mine, she went from blonde, to red, then blonde again, then finally red again. Confused much, Ash?

On the other hand, another Simpson sister, Ash’s big sis, Jessica, looked like she had another shot of collagen in the lips (or whatever it is that she injects into them), since almost all pictures taken of her on that same night, Thursday, saw her with pouting lips (more than her usual pout, anyway). Or it may just be a result from all the alcohol that she took in that night. So, which is which? I, for one, prefer her less pouty, but cuter look. How bout you?

Anyway, Jess joined up with Ash and her friends at the Luxe for a fun girls-only night out, and maybe to have a little sisterly bonding, Now ain’t that sweet?

And Pete Wentz strikes again!

If you thought that Pete has had enough of opening up his big mouth and exposing secrets that no one else in their right minds even think of exposing, then you’re dead wrong. The “douchebag” has yet another revelation involving wife, Ashlee Simpson.

After revealing that Pete “pops Ambien like Skittles,” and that he’s pretty much “paranoid” most of the time, Blender magazine had revealed the best for last. Well, it appears that if he and Ashlee hadn’t gotten around to saying “I do” then he would still be “jerking off” to her pictures, just like he did before they started dating (as he made public on the Howard Stern show).

I seem to remember that Pete’s New Year’s resolution was to stop swearing around his son, Bronx Mowgli. But I think Pete doesn’t have a clear idea about what it means to have a dirty mouth.

“I hunted her down and shot the dart in her. I just had to wait for her to collapse! Basically, I’m married to the person I’d be jerking off to,” he says in Blender magazine.

Somebody get some soap and wash this bad boy’s mouth!

While “hunting” women down and “shooting darts” at her might work in the cave men days, I think that we now have a slightly more modern and better way of doing things now. But hey, it worked; he got Ash to marry her, plus got her to be the mother of his son. Do you think that we should all just revert to our cave men courting rituals? I don’t think so! Do you think that Ash would be able to forgive him this time? I’ll leave that to your judgment then.

Ashlee Simpson along with Evan Rohde of Sheldon Prosnit and the rest of the technical team behind her hit, “Outta My Head”, won an award from the Music Video Production Association for one of the Technical Categories, Best Art Direction.

Wonder why there was no Award Show? The MVPA used a December holiday party to officially announce the winners of their 17th Annual Awards Show, which was a scaled back party/announcement event.

The nominees were originally announced in May, thus the fact that of the winners are over six months old. MVPA, unlike other award-giving bodies, give recognition to the directors and production companies, or to the proper technician.

The other nominees for Best Art Direction are as follows:

• Paula Good, 9 Agency for Eve “Tambourine”
• Ruby Guidara, Prop It Up for The White Stripes “Icky Thump”
• Teri Whittaker for Modest Mouse “Dashboard”
• Zach Matthews, Endeavor for Christina Aguilera “Candyman”

Alan Ferguson of Anonymous Content was also nominated for Best Director, also for Outta My Head, and two other videos, husband Pete Wentz and band, Fall Out Boy’s “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” and “You And Me.”

Ashlee described the video as being “ambitious” and “like an art piece” and said that it involves going into “another world and never know[ing] what’s real”.

The “Outta My Head” music video had been streamed over two million times as of March 2008. By early September, the video had been viewed more than five million times on YouTube.

Ever wonder what celebrity couples like Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s New Year’s resolutions are?

Well wonder no more! In an interview with Extra on New Year’s Eve, Ashlee describes herself as a “Gee golly!” kind of person (Can somebody explain to me what that means? And what it has to do with resolutions? Thanks!), while Pete, unsurprisingly might I add, says that he’s trying to watch his language when he’s around the delicate ears of his son.

“I’m working on not swearing around Bronx,” Pete admits. “I know I have a bit of a bad mouth.”

It’s a good thing he knows! I mean, I appears that he doesn’t want Bronx’s first word to be a swear word now, does he? Good luck on your truly noble New Year’s resolution, Pete! But I think you should scratch the “a bit” part.

On another note, it looks like Bronx will be the big brother to eight other siblings, if Pete had his way that is.

According to Ashlee, their eldest will “definitely” be a big brother someday, and if her husband would have his way it will be eight times over, “So that would be nine [kids] for me,” he says.

Look out Ash. But with their “sexual chemistry,” which Pete kindly overshares in his radio interview with Howard Stern, that event might not be too unlikely.

Oh well, all we can do is to wish you “Good luck!” for the upcoming year. And good luck on your life as parents and as a married couple.

Well, apparently there are still a lot of people who can spend $5000 bucks just to join a party.

New parents singer/ actress Ashlee Simpson and husband, bassist/composer Pete Wentz, made their way to PURE nightclub, in Cesar’s Palace, Las Vegas last Wednesday, December 31, to host their annual New Year’s Eve Party (a job which was taken on by Britney Spears, just a couple of New Years ago).

Singer/ actress Ashlee Simpson has had enough.

The wife of Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz has named her husband an a**hole after his “revealing” tell-all in the Howard Stern radio show. Pete disclosed everything from Ash’s bra size, their sex life, even to how well she gives lap danced.

Ashlee, who recently gave birth to Bronx Mowgli, her first son with the rocker, flared up against Pete for being so candid about their private life while talking to the US radio presenter.

Pete revealed to fans during a live show that his wife was less than impressed with his revelations, telling him: “I’m going to pay you back, a**hole!”

Well, if you were Ash’s shoes, would you be “amused” at your husband? Frankly, I’m surprised that Pete is still alive. Oh well, it just proves to show that she loves the guy.

While most of us are excited and so looking forward for this new year, it seems like Ashlee Simpson-Wentz would be holding on to 2008 a little bit longer before she heads out for 2009.

Celebrating the New Year’s Eve at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, the new mom tells the reporters, “I don’t know if I can have high expectations for 2009 because 2008 was so good.”

If we may recall, it was in this year that Jessica Simpson’s little sister became a wife to Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz and a mother to her newborn son, Bronx Mowgli.

“It was the greatest year of my life,” tells Ashlee.

Well if Ashlee Simpson is gushing about how great 2008 has been for her, her husband Pete just can’t help but share about his sex life with his wife. *Rolls eyes*
