Dedicated mommy, Ashlee Simpson has taken to toting her adorable son (who is looking slightly grumpy in this picture), Bronx Mowgli everywhere, is seen leaving a parenting class in Los Angeles last Thursday, July 23.

Anyways, rumor has it that Ash and hubby, Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz, are having a fal out (no pun intended) because of children. Erm, their own children, that is.

It seems that Pete is in a hurry to give Bronx a younger brother or sister, while Ash is more hesitant.

“Pete wants Ashlee pregnant NOW,” a source told the National Enquirer. “He wants a big family. And he’s adamant that the children should be close in age. But Ashlee is consumed with making it as a serious actress. Each time Pete brings up the idea of a new baby, Ashlee groans, ‘We just had one!’”

The insider adds, “While Ashlee does want more kids, she wants to wait a couple of years. It’s Pete who is getting antsy — and the baby issue is starting to create conflict. Ashlee worked hard to slim down and lose the baby weight after Bronx was born in November. She thinks another pregnancy now will slow her career momentum. And the last thing she wants is to jeopardize this new television gig because of morning sickness and dealing with the physical toll of a pregnancy.”

Hmmm, I think I would have to side with Ashlee on this one, if ever this is true of course. Why? Because it’s really hard to balance a career and being a mom. And besides, Bronx is too young now to have a younger sibling since he still needs looking after too. And with Ash’s career on the roll, it would have been kinda impractical if they go through with it. What do you guys think?

After a month of near obscurity, Ashlee Simpson’s latest project, Melrose Place, has come out of the ashes and released a promotional video! And at YouTube nonetheless! Sorry for regressing, but I noticed that nowadays, if you want publicity and want it fast, you go to YouTube.

But anyway, one thing that I noticed in the promotional video is that the longest time that Ash was featured is the one that features her screaming towards the end. Oh, and the fact that she looks alarmingly thin.

Mrs. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is hard at work at her new gig, which she’s been filming since April. The new CW Melrose Place new promos have no less than Britney Spears’s “Circus” as a soundtrack for the show. With the tagline, “No apartment building has ever been so complex,” the show will make audience see the acting prowess of our talented singer-actress.

Anyway, the show will premiere on the CW on September 8. And for all of you who have been living under a rock for the past decade, this Melrose Place is a remake of the way popular TV show in the 90s of the same name. Ash plays Violet Foster, who, according to People, is a “a small-town girl trying her luck in L.A., who has a “disarming naiveté [that] masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within.”

Wow, kinda hard to imagine Bronx-toting Mommy Ashlee being a shrewd sex kitten. But I have to admit that this will be quite interesting to see if she can pull it off. Oh, and by the way, while you’re looking at the promo video, watch out for the hot guys that Ash is lucky enough to co-star with.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is excited and exhilaratingly happy with her work with CW revamp of popular ‘90s show, Melrose Place.

However, the big bosses behind the powers-that-be in CW are keeping the plot and story so tightly wrapped that they don’t even let their actors and actresses know about it.Ash has no idea what sort of mischief, toruble, and scandal her character, Violet, would go through because the show’s producers will not read her read future scripts.

The singer/actress and also wife to Pete Wentz, and mommy to Bronx Mowgli, is counting the days until the much-awaited show airs in US television on September 9. until then, she’ll have to wait like the rest of us, on what her character’s fate will be.

Anyways, she disclosed to MTV.com, “I play the girl that’s straight-off-the-bus. It’s exciting because we don’t get to see the next episode. We don’t get to read the scripts until we’re actually about to shoot it, and everyone is dying to know what’s going to happen to their characters, so it’s fun. It’ll be exciting to play that arc.”

And the 24 year old isn’t ruling out a guest appearance from her husband, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz: “He hangs with me, but we don’t read lines. I’m sure he would (make a cameo) if I asked him to!”

Wow! A Pete Wentz cameo…wonder what character they’ll let them play? Would Ash allow him to play someone else’s bad-boy boyfriend? Oh well, something else to look forward to.

Not that I have anything against Ashlee Simpson, I actually like her, but please, let her not do a Michael Jackson cover album!

Rumor has it that papa and manager, Joe Simpson has taken a fancy to letting his younger daughter record an entire album of the King of Pop’s songs. Well, Ash has a good voice (not the best, sorry to say, but good) and she can dance (I think), but still, it’s the Michael Jackson we’re talking about here. I doubt that there’s any singer/ dancer out there who would be bold enough to do an MJ cover album this soon after his death, when adoring fans are still mourning him.

But luckily, we can breath a sigh of relief because Ash has laid the rumor to rest when she Tweeted: “Haha jeez. I loved M.J. enough 2 never to in my wildest dreams think of doing a tribute album. R.I.P. A legend. Enough with the goofy stories!” Whew!

Ashlee’s publicist, Rhett Usry makes it more formal by telling Entertainment Weekly that, “The [rumors] are completely not true…Honestly I don’t know where they’re from. This completely fabricated story is very disrespectful to Michael Jackson at a time like this, regardless of whose name you’re putting it to. Furthermore, she’s in the middle of shooting Melrose Place.”

Good. I don’t think I’m ready to here someone else sing Billy Jean or Thriller other than the original Michael Jackson anytime soon. And I don’t think anyone else is ready too. Maybe a few years from now? Try 10 – 20 years.

The Ashlee Simpson- Pete Wentz split rumors are relentless, regardless of a representative of the couple insisting that “Everything is fine in their world.”

According to some unnamed sources, the young wife and mother to Bronx Mowgli has “reverted” to drinking because she feels unhappy with her life. The same sources say that Ash’s marriage to Fall Out Boy rocker, Pete Wentz is nearly on the rocks and the actress uses drinking as an “outlet for her unhappiness.”

“She is reverting to drinking and going out, because she is sick and tired of her life. This is an outlet for her unhappiness. It’s a bad situation, and Pete is getting fed up,” says a source, who wants to remain unnamed.

Another source reveals some of Simpson’s unhappiness comes from her constant responsibility to 7-month-old son Bronx. “Ashlee loves motherhood but misses her life without responsibility,” an insider claims.

Ash recently hit the headlines last week after saying some pretty harsh things to actress Michelle Trachtenberg, at a Los Angeles party. She subsequently apologized for the outburst, claiming there was a “misunderstanding” and that the two women “remain on good terms.”

An “insider” says, “Ashlee is having major problems with Pete right now. They fight constantly. She is seriously considering leaving him. They have been arguing a lot recently. They’re in different places (in their lives).”

However, a representative for the 24-year-old is adamant their romance is still going strong.

The spokesperson tells the magazine, “Ashlee and Pete are in a stable, happy marriage. They love one another and love being a family.”

This fall, brace yourself in seeing Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in the newly revamped Melrose Place.

Ash will make a come-back on the small screen for a new full-time gig on the CW’s new “Melrose Place.” The newly revamped series, based on the hit original from the ’90s, promises to be just as scandalous as the original. The original show starred Heather Locklear, Marcia Cross and Kelly Rutherford of Gossip Girls.

“I play the girl that’s straight-off-the-bus. It’s fun,” the young wife to Pete Wentz and mommy to Bronx Mowgli told MTV News about her character, the enchantingly naive Violet Foster.

“It’s exciting because we don’t get to see the next episode. We don’t get to read the scripts until we’re actually about to shoot it, and everyone is dying to know what’s going to happen to their characters, so it’s fun. It’ll be exciting to play that arc. … It’s got good drama,” she says, which does follow the lines of the drama-filled plot of the original.

“For me, I started off doing ‘7th Heaven,’” she says, which is really a far cry from this new show because there have been glimpses of a dead body and police tape in the preview of the pilot episode.

“I went on to do my music career so now I’m really, really thrilled [to be back on TV]. This is what I wanted to do and this is such a great show. I’m so excited about the show,” she continues.

Acting-wise, Ash recently made a cameo on “CSI” alongside her hubby, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.

While we may have to wait until fall before we catch Ashlee Simpson on TV playing Violet Foster on Melrose Place, we may at least get an idea how the actress has been on the show’s set.

Caught by Hollyscoop.com during the 11th Annual Young Hollywood awards, Shaun Sipo shared how it is working alongside the famous star.

“She’s great she’s really sweet she has her son Bronx on set,” he said.

Answering as to what kind of mom Ashlee is, the cutie actor revealed, “I think she’s a good mum I mean I am not with her when she’s at home but from her being on set with her child she looks like a good mother.”

Quite a safe answer, isn’t it?

Anyway, since it would take a little while to see Ashlee back on the small screen, here’s a sneak peak of the show.

So I decided to do a “Do You Know” section for the younger Simpson sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Ash has certainly come a long way from being “just” Jessica Simpson’s kid sister. At 24, Ash is married and has one adorable little boy. So here are some Ashlee Simpson facts. Enjoy!

1. Ashlee Nicole Simpson was born on October 3, 1984 at Waco, Texas.

2. Her height is 5’7”, which is three inches taller than older sister Jessica who stands 5’4”.

3. She was anorexic when she was a young teenager.

4. She has seven tattoos: a star on one wrist, two cherries on her ankle, the word “love” on her other wrist, the number 3 added to one wrist, and a large peony flower on one wrist.

5. She says that when she’s looking for a guy, she prefers musicians. Oh! So that explains Pete!

6. She married Fall Out Boy’s bassist/ songwriter, Pete Wentz on May 17, 2008 at an intimate ceremony at her parents’ house in Los Angeles.

7. She gave birth to their baby boy on November 20, 2008, six months after the wedding. The couple named their baby, Bronx Mowgli, which was voted as the Quirkiest Name Baby Names for 2008 by OMG!

8. One of her favorite hobbies is knitting. Yes, knitting. Why? Well, because to Ash, it’s really relaxing.

9. She had her first kiss at Motel 6 with a guy who worked at Jessica’s concert tour. She was 14.

10. She is addicted to Redbull. Well, not addicted in a bad way, but she says that she can’t live without it and she chugs down three to four bottles a day.

CW held a pre-upfront party, which Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has attended. Teen network CW will be airing the re-booted ‘90’s series, Melrose Place this fall.

Ashlee went to the party in some trendy clothes. She wore a black and white outfit paired off with black heels with pink bows. Her white, sleeveless polo blouse with black line designs was matched with a plain black pencil-cut skirt that fell just below the knees. She accessorized with a layered necklace and a black wristwatch. What made the outfit standout (for lack of a better term) were her heels. The shoes were black open-toed pumps but designed with three bows that made them look like straps. Confused much? Just go and look at the picture and tell me whether you love the look of not.

Like the original, the new series will focus on a group of young, overly attractive members of the upper class living in a swanky apartment complex, which is Melrose’s Place.

Anyways, the Melrose Place pilot episode will kick start with a murder. Ashlee’s character, violet, is seen in on of CW’s released stills, staring in horror at a pool where a dead body is supposed to be floating. Intriguing, right?

While I don’t remember much about the original Melrose Place show, nor its cast, as I looked at the reviews, it seems to me like the show is rife with sex.

Anyhow, the show is set to be aired on Tuesday nights, following Beverly Hills 90210 (which is also a re-boot). Hmmm, seems to me that Hollywood’s current trend is re-booted programs, or maybe its just CW that’s following it. But whatever, I wish Ash luck in her TV shows endeavors. Best of luck Ash!

Oooohhhhh…don’t you just love rumors?! Especially if they’re about our favorite Simpson sisters. Right now, it isn’t about Jessica Simpson, but the younger sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who is rumored to be pregnant with baby number two!

When the couple celebrated their first year anniversary (congratulations, by the way!), the rumor mill went abuzz with the juice that Ashlee and husband, Fall Out Boy rocker, Pete Wentz, are expecting another baby, as written by Star Magazine. They reported that Ash was just a few weeks along and was very happily expecting her second baby and that she was so thrilled to give their baby boy, Bronx Mowgli, a new brother or sister. The magazine also said that the pop singer was expecting that this baby would bring her and her husband even closer because their hectic schedules have strained their relationship.

“… She loves Pete and wants to hang on to him. She believes this second baby will really clinch the deal,” the tabloid reportedly writes.

However, these rumors proved to be false. Ash’s father and manager, Joe Simpson, quickly quenched the wildfire gossips by drenching it in water, courtesy of his blog.

“Just totally not true!!” Contactmusic quoted him as stating on his blog.

Papa Joe also congratulated his daughter on her anniversary. “One year ago today… My baby got married!! Congrats Ash and Pete,” he added.

Meanwhile, the family of three was spotted at New York City. Mommy Ash was there to go to the CW event while Papa Pete was let to have some quality “for the boys” time with baby Bronx. I must say that the three of them looked pretty happy and cozy together. It seems that the couple has overcome the teeny bit of scandal that Pete was in when he appeared in pictures partying in Las Vegas with skimpily-clad girls. Does Ashlee have the patience of a saint or what!

Ashlee Simpson can’t seem to stand to be even a day without her baby boy, Bronx Mowgli. Such is her dedication to her little angel that she even brought him to work with her.

On the set of the CS remake, Melrose Place, where Ash plays Violet Foster, a “bright-eyed but shrewd small-town girl and recent L.A. transplant who has come to town with a secret”, the songstress cum actress zipped back to her adorable baby boy when she wasn’t needed to be in front of the camera. The Pieces of Me singer spent two hours on the set for her new show that had her returning to her trailer plenty of times to change outfits throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Bronx seemed to enjoy his little outing with mommy. The adorable boy with the cute cheeks, alternated between being carried by his mother and rolling around in a stroller while Mommy Ashlee pushed him around, looking sporty in a pair of short shorts, tank top and tennis shoes.

Still focusing on the Simpson brood, how about Daddy Pete? Well, it seems that Ash has forgiven him for his night with the strippers – erm, skimpily clad dancers – and the trio were spotted at FAO Schwartz earlier today. It seems that Ash decided not to murder him for Bronx’s sake.

Anyway, they brought a life size plush pony, a Stack & Pull toy, a Sporty stroller, and Barefoot books with sing-along CD’s for their little rocker. But why the toys? Well, Pete conveniently answers in his Twitter page after their little shopping spree: Fao schwartz with the babe. Pretty much we bought a bunch of stuff cos he kept putting stuff in his mouth. Woo! Sanitary!

Uh-oh.

Jessica Simpson and her country music label, Sony BMG Nashville, is hitting splitsville!

The 28-year old pop-turned-country singer is no longer a part of the Sony Music Nashville family, up to the point that her information, including her biography and page, are no longer available in the label’s website.

Though Song BMG Nashville has declined to comment about Jess’s status, a spokesperson for Jessica released a statement to CMT.com, saying, “Jessica is and has always been an Epic artist. She was on loan to Sony Nashville for her country album. She continues to be on Epic’s label.”

Oh. Is that so? But is the fact that Epic and Columbia, are both owned and operated by Sony Music Entertainment not relevant?

As of now, Jessica’s music career is in a standstill. But let’s review what happened in the previous year. The pop-turned-country tart released her first country album, Do You Know, on September 2008. Though it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard’s country chart, it failed to bring in an impressive revenue when only less than 200,000 copies were sold.

Her debut country single, Come On Over, which was then Sony BMG’s Epci/Columbia imprint, opened at No. 18 on Billboards country songs for August 2008. She sang the same song at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville prior to that on June.

Her album also netted another single, Remember That, which peaked at No. 42 on December of last year.

Though the label has courteously refrained from commenting, rumors have been flying for months that Joe Galante, the head of Sony BMG Nashville was fed up with Jess and her forgetfulness of her own lyrics and crying on stage during her tour with Rascal Flatts.

While Ashlee and Bronx Simpson-Wentz were at home cuddling and having bonding time, papa Pete Wentz seems to have forgotten that he is a married man with a kid, and reverted back to his grubby bachelor ways.

A source who witnessed the whole sordid scene in the hotel room, revealed to Star Magazine, “Everybody was going absolutely crazy. People were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip ‘n’ Slide with a mat and lubricant. And Pete was in great spirits. He was dancing and singing along to his band’s own songs, grinding up against the dancers.”

C’mon! I mean, Slip n’ Slide? With a mat and lubricant?! Pete had better pray that his son does NOT take after him.

Oh well. While “grinding” up to scantily clad dancers isn’t a sin per se, but one cannot deny that it is provocative. Given his reputation, Pete should have spared some thought to how it will look like to the press and more importantly, to Ashlee.

I’m guessing that Ash is not pleased with him right now. Alright, who am I kidding? She’s probably contemplating on ho to punish him painfully. Though she might refrain herself for Bronx’s sake.

The Insider even wrote: “Pete Wentz doesn’t seem like the type of guy who can stay married and committed for too long, so watch out divorce court, because here they come. And I don’t mean that in a perverse way.”

I hope that Pete will do something to redeem himself in the eyes of his wife and child, of the rest of her family, and the rest of the world who’s watching them closely.
