“Desperate” Jess?
Whispers are flying that Jessica Simpson is “desperate” to get married to beau, Tony Romo. And how true is that? According to Touch Weekly magazine’s reliable source, it pretty much has a ring of truth to it.
It seems likely that this shining light of inspiration to get married comes from Jess being jealous of her younger sister, Ashlee, becoming a new mom before she did.
The blonde country singer finally pieces her life together after a divorce with ex-husband, Nick Lachey and a very public (and messy) break-up with yet another singer, John Mayer (who is currently dating another blonde, Jennifer Aniston).
Well, Jess is setting her sights on Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback, Tony Romo, and is hoping that he will propose soon.
Touch’s talkative source reveals that, “Jessica has told friends she is convinced Tony will ask her to marry him over the holidays.”
According to the mag, Jess wants to get engaged next year, have the wedding in Texas in the summer, and then get pregnant, because as the source conveniently states,
“Unlike Ashlee, Jessica doesn’t want to get pregnant and then get married. She’s a little more traditional, so she’d like to marry Tony first and then get pregnant, ideally on their honeymoon.”
Now, is that a little jab at Ashlee, since that is a deviated version from her sister’s story, which was pregnancy first before the wedding vows?
But from the other rumors that are milling around, it seems that Tony’s family is not likely to give their nod of approval in adding Jess to the Romo clan. Anyhow, it’s still the couple’s choice anyway, and I think that Tony and Jess are mature enough (they’re 28, for crying out loud!) to make their own decisions. All we can do is watch and hope that Jess gets her happy ending.
